Pensnett Health Centre

Pensnett is designated by NHS Dudley as a suitable location for the development of a full GP GMS Service under the Equitable Access in Primary Care Initiative (EAPC).  It is consistent with local needs and in keeping with attempts to regenerate the area. Pensnett Health Centre has moved to its development stage with stage 1 being approved on 5th July 2010 by the Strategic Partnering Board.  Financial Close or execution of all contractual documents is expected to take place in February 2012.  With construction commencing in Spring 2012, the building is forecast to at the end of Winter 2012.

The services to be delivered include:

• Accommodation for the new GP Practice;
• PCT Treatment - generically scaled, but not restricted to:
  • Primary Care Counselling;
  • Physiotherapy;
  • Podiatry;
  • Phlebotomy;
  • Lymphodoema Clinic;  
  • Minor Operations
• Midwifery (post and ante natal); 
• Community nursing team;
• Health Education Room;
• DMBC Library Link;
• Third party space including commercial uses to be identifed.
