Lye Health and Social Care Centre has moved to its development stage with Stage 1 being approved on 5th July 2010 by the Strategic Partnering Board.  Financial Close or execution of all contractual documents is expected to take place in February 2012.  With construction commencing in early 2012, the building is forecast to open in Autumn 2013.

The Lye scheme will be a centre for a range of primary and community services.

The services to be delivered include:

• Accommodation for three GP Practices;
• PCT Treatment - generically scaled, but not restricted to:
  • Primary Care Counselling;
  • Physiotherapy;
  • Podiatry;
  • Community dental services;  
  • LTCM;
  • Generic OP (GPSI); 
• Midwifery (post and ante natal); 
• Community nursing team;
• General Dental Service;
• Optician service (private practice);
• Third party space including a commercial pharmacy and cafe;
